VIDEOKINGS — At his first rally since leaving the White House, former President Donald Trump on Saturday lambasted the Biden administration’s immigration policies and sought to energize Republicans to take back majorities in Congress next year.
Donald Trump supporters cheered and chanted “Trump won” as he blasted the 2020 presidential election during Saturday’s speech.
The former president threw MAGA hats into the crowd as he took to the stage after an hour-long delay in getting to the rally.
Former President Donald Trump claimed that he believed “we won’t even have a country left” by 2024 if Republicans do not take action ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.
“We will not let that happen, we can’t,” he said.
Trump blasted Republicans who voted for his impeachment at the Ohio rally as a “disgrace.”
He branded it “the unhinged, unconstitutional illegal impeachment witch hunt.”
Donald Trump accused the Republican Party of being “weak” since Biden took office.
“We got weak over the past five months … we must never forget this country does not belong to them, it belongs to them the American people,” he claimed.
During Saturday’s speech, Trump claimed that Hillary Clinton is the “single most unhappy person in the United States.”
He claimed that she would have wanted an election “rigged” for her in 2016.
“We got them by surprise in 2016,” he said, alleging that “they planned it out this year.”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was also on Trump’s radar on Saturday as he took a swipe at her over mask-wearing.
He claimed that he had seen Pelosi “wear the largest mask I’ve ever seen.”
“I wasn’t sure if it was three masks or one,” Trump added.
