VIDEOKINGS — Looting and rioting erupted in Minnesota’s Brooklyn Center area on Sunday after an officer shot a man escaping from a traffic stop in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, who then crashed his vehicle and died.

Police in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center said they had tried to arrest a suspect, after they pulled him over for a traffic violation then determined he had an outstanding warrant.

The National Guard was called in to calm the chaos and a curfew was imposed to quell angry demonstrations in Brooklyn Center over the death of 20-year-old Daunte Wright.
